Assalamualaikum, Dear Diary, Today I decided to terminate an insurance policy which I bought few months ago. The reason? I think i could use some extra cash this year and there is other alternatives that is affordable with good coverage. The termination process will take a while and all my paid premiums will not be returned as it is not reaching 3 years yet. That was totally fine with me. I have a dream - to live with minimal debt and minimal spending but with generous help and charity and sadaqah and jariah towards people who needed help and for good causes. I also dreamt of living in a peaceful manner, raising my kids without much to worry about money and stuff. I hope my household income and expenditure is not extreme and on a balance level. Allah is the Most Generous Giver.

Assalamualaikum wbt, Dear diary, Today, the YDP Agong, Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan has stepped down from his office. This surprised me lot as I've dismissed an earlier message received from a friend  on the 3rd of January whereas it indicates that the Conference of Rulers had a special meeting among them, in which, are not attended by the Prime Minister and the head ministers of the states. The details of the meeting are not told in the message but it suggests that the conference has decided that the YDP Agong should tender his resignation or be removed from office by the 9th of January. On the succession of the YDP Agong it is still not clear who will the Conference of Rulers pick. As for now, the hearsays are talking about 3 figure, the Sultan of Johore, the Sultan of Perak and the Sultan of Pahang. Well, I don't want to further wrote down my thoughts on this. Assalamualaikum, Dear Diary, Today is the first Friday in 2019. As usual, I met with friends for lunch while waiting for the Jumaat prayers. We often discuss a wide range of topics. Sometimes it could go very deep and sometimes it just jokes and such. Today, the topics is more on the halal food and how non Muslims perceived it. After that, we also discussed on how Muslims can be sucessful in their business and climb the ladder of success in entrepreneurship. Assalamualaikum, Dear diary, Today is the first day at work for 2019. Did the routine tasks and then reviewed some points on pending projects. Then, had a little discussion during lunch about the smoking ban in eateries as well as EPL topics and how to manage wealth (as if I got so much money, LOL). After that had some discussions with colleague and wife on raising child like my son. Lastly, went to find a new belt as i left the work belt at my hometown. Oh ya, I also went to the night market to buy some fresh goods. That's all for today. Wassalam.

Assalamualaikum.... Dear Diary, It is the 1st of January, 2019. The rest of the year will be surely challenging for us all. Malaysians especially, will face the hard truth, where they will start to assess the performance of the new Government, after a 7 month of 'honeymoon' period. It is not only for the government. Here, I would remind myself that I have a family to raise and live with. Although both mom and son are living far away from me, I intend to engage more into their lives. As my son is now reaching his 5th birthday on July, there are a lot to worry for what he currently is. A lot of life skills are still developing but not at a steady expectation. He must get ready this year so that next year he can cope with the formal pre-school education system in this country. For this, I really pray to God that he could make my son ready for the future with all of the essential skills to be a good Muslim child. And I pray that He lend me and my wife, strengths  a
