To all my dear Chinese/half-Chinese friends, I would like to wish you all, a Happy Chinese New Year. As a multi-racial country, we have to co-operate to ensure that our nation will continue to be prosperous and safe, without sacrificing what our forefathers had agreed years ago. So, I really hope that we could understand each other and respect our rights to be fair and square among ourself.
I'm really proud of our country, Malaysia. Despite being the model of a good developing Islamic country, we do not forget the non Muslims that had been together with the Malays and Muslims since the Merdeka day. There is no restrictions to the non-Muslims to practice their belief and faith, as long as they don't cross 'the borders' and respect the Malays traditions and the Islamic principles. Let's hope the best for all of us, especially in the 'Year of Ox' (according to Chinese calendar). Let's hope that we can improve ourself and our country, especially in going through the challenging times this year.
