Salam...
Hello everyone.. looks like it is quite a long time since this blog been updated. And now, here I am to tell a little bit of my life journey to all of you, especially my friends who always came by to read my babblings and all the stuff that i wrote. Hehehe.. i really appreciate that LOL..
Some of you might know that i've graduated from UNITEN and started to ask whether i've get a job or still looking for one. To be honest with you all, I am looking for a job, but that was back in 2 month before. For today, i had successfully hired my first job ever.. hehe.. I felt really excited about that.. after about 3 interviews with different company and different job position, finally, i've been accepted as an IT Support Analyst by a company here in Penang. The company that i worked for is actually a provider for another company (client company) which are outsourcing their Support Analyst person to cater their needs for their call centre. The client company is a big one, and they have many workplaces worldwide. In Penang only, they have like more than 10 buildings... huhu.. just imagine how big is that...
So my job is actually to help those internal users within the organization. They are calling from all over the places. Their problems usually related to OS, Network, Office tools and also other related systems. So, as a support analyst, i should be able to help them solve the problems via phone, e-mails, or chats. But for this job, i am required to assist only by phone. This week and the weeks to come would be my training weeks. So, for today i am required to stick around with seniors, and just listen to their conversation with the users. This sounds like an easy job, but once you listen to the conversation, and how they handled the issues, it would be more surprising than what you thought at first. This is what we called shadowing.
Tomorrow, i have several training class for the subjects that i need to know for the preparation of the job. That classes will take about two weeks and my shadowing will be like 3 weeks. After that i will do the reversing which i myself don't know what it actually is. This terms seems to be new to me. At first i thought i would be like a simple training on how to use the phone, how to take the calls, something like that but after my first shadowing, i began to realize that this job isn't a job that you can take it easily. You should be firm, patient and expert at what you are doing plus some soft skills that is a critical requirement for this job. People are expecting you to solve their problem and you have the responsibilities to make them satisfied with your assistance. It also requires you to do some multi-tasking LOL..
Well, i'm not so good when writing in English and i can't write more for this entry.. the more i write, the more mistakes i think i'll do.. sorry guys if my post this time is quite 'buggy' with grammar mistakes or spelling mistakes... It just a practice for me to think in English as once my teacher said, to be really fluent in English, you have to think in English.. not enough with that, you have (if can) dream in English.. so when i write, i usually let my mind take that job, and my heart talk to myself. Only by that way, i think i could improve my English when i'm alone.. off course, conversation with other people still the best thing to improve your English.. hehe.. you would never improve if you keep talking to yourself, aren't u? ;P
Wassalam..
